My name is Vanessa Verea, and I am the Founder of HUMBLE&VAIN.
 

Six years ago, after working in countless salons (and growing up with a hairstylist father), I knew I wanted to change the beauty industry. I had seen the toxic environments, the impossible standards, and the way true artistry often got buried while the “questionable” rose to the top. IYKYK.
 

But it’s a new age. Bullying is out. Kindness is in.

That’s why I built HUMBLE&VAIN: to be a voice for the barely recognized, the hidden talent, and the true artists working behind the scenes. I became the ultimate hype woman — connecting, creating, and opening doors with my “I know a guy” drive and my determination to leave an impression wherever I go.

In just one year, HUMBLE&VAIN grew into a name on the NYC wedding scene (with expansion to the Hamptons), landed the front cover of magazines, and even made it to a billboard in Times Square.
 

When I say “we” or “our,” it’s because HUMBLE&VAIN is more than me. It’s a collective of artists who’ve been through the depths of this industry and chose to join me in building the change we all wanted to see.
